Dental Assistant
Bailey High
​
Bailey graduated from Springfield High School in 2021 and started her dental Assisting career right after that. She was trained on the job and worked her way up from there, falling into a field she loves. Bailey is committed to making her patients feel comfortable in the dental chair. She is excited to see the growth of technology in dentistry in the future. In her free time she enjoys being in the gym, hanging with her 3 cats and her fiancé, and baking/cooking just about anything.

Aiyanna Taylor
Aiyanna joined our team in May of 2024 after graduating from Lewis and Clark Community College where she received her Dental Assisting certificate. She is also certified through the Dental Assisting National Board, reflecting her dedication to providing knowledgeable and compassionate care to the patients.
Growing up with small town values, Aiyanna enjoys getting to know our patients and helping them feel comfortable and welcomed at their visits. She loves being part of a team that helps people feel confident about their smiles.
Outside the office, Aiyanna is engaged to her high school sweetheart, Alex, and enjoys spending time with family and looking forward to their future together.
Fun Facts about Aiyanna: She was voted "Best Smile" in high school, so working in dentistry just seems like the perfect fit. (She was also voted "Best Hair too, but she isnt one to brag)

Angela Carnes

Angela has been in the dental field for over thirty years. She began her career as a Certified Dental Assistant before deciding to go back to college to become a Registered Dental Hygienist at Lakeland College in Mattoon. Angela grew up locally and has recently moved back to Virden after living in Sullivan Illinois for 25 years.
She met Dr. Ashley and had the pleasure of working with her in a dental office in Decatur in 2019. She is so excited to be reunited now and be apart of the Virden Family Dental team.
In her free time she enjoys volunteering for pet rescues, and spending time with her husband Doug and their many pets!

Jean Williams

Jean has been a dental hygienists for 33 years. She has been in Virden at this dental office for 33 years. Jeane has been very happy here in Virden and after all these years, she still loves her job. Jean has an infectious laugh that puts a smile on our faces every day. Jean has three children and one grandbaby who she loves spending time with.

Shari Millburg

Shari is one of the former dental assistants and current front desk here at Virden Family Dental. She has been helping patients have a comfortable and positive experience in this office for 33 years. Her patients love to visit with her every time they come in to see us. Shari is married and has three children and six grandchildren that make her world go round.

Jaimi Reid

Jaimi began pursuing a career in dentistry in 1997. That year she graduated college with a dental assisting certificate. Jaimi then went on to study dental hygiene. She has now been working as a hygienist for 24 years. Twenty of those have been with this office. She truly loves what she does and wouldn't change a thing. When Jaimi is not working her and her husband can be found chasing their daughter around at a softball field to watch her and her travel team play ball.
